The students participate in a class designed to accomplish this goal which introduces vocational Christian ministry.  The students explore the biblical concept of calling and their own personal identity. The students are exposed to a variety of vocational ministry opportunities through guest speakers and observation of ministry settings. The desired result was to equip those field mentors who have been trained in the principles of ministry supervision to resolve conflict between themselves and the student interns they supervise. The program involved twelve hours of training in both theoretical models and practical application. The role of the author was to facilitate the teams' development, providing training, assistance, and encouragement to the team building process.
