The author explored literary works in the field of adult student recruiting, existing adult recruiting strategies and models used by other institutions, the demographics of past and current ACHIEVE students, the adult friendliness of the college's student support services, and current recruiting practices.  From the findings of the external and internal exploration, the author developed a strategy for recruiting adult students. The writer surveyed the churches and missions in India and South Gujarat. He discerned a biblical theology of New Testament leadership teams and their development. He studied the needs of leaders through a demography survey and developed a curriculum with resources from BILD. This curriculum had three stages: mastering the basic principles, building character and ministry concepts, and doing theology in culture and civilization.
