The procedure will involve setting goals to ensure proper measure of study and enhance the project director's preaching skills."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5e492469-490e-44a3-90c1-17560a603bc2"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1799721389121339392,"timestamp":"2024-05-22T03:21:05.491Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:26:54Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:05:44Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"d78f9c23-5cd0-4294-986a-0a17f4d7bdbd","accessControl_ssim":["999ff915-7a6c-4b09-9a42-5a3c9a0e1b47"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Made to make a difference: ministry formation and the holistic redemptive vision of the kingdom of God"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T16:26:54Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T04:17:48Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["f92bb7ff-6843-44ea-82ce-37fbdcff7d0d"],"hasLease_ssim":["972cee5c-62c7-4ff5-b464-58a469b1b9a2"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Harvey Powers"],"year_tesim":["2011"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Lance Blair Dixon"],"keyword_tesim":["Practice (Theology)"],"publisher_tesim":["Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Kingdom of God","Faith development","Theology, Practical","Character","Spiritual formation","Vocation","Redemption--Biblical teaching"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["Building on the work of Harv Powers and Rod Cooper in redemptive leadership, this thesis-project seeks to clarify the biblical meaning of redemption and provide a model of discipleship that takes into account the full implications of participating in Christ's transformative work in the world. The goal of designing a holistic discipleship model is to enable Christians to understand more fully and practice more intentionally the true nature of God's reign which we have been called to witness and serve, which is the redemption of all creation. The chapters build toward the development of a curriculum designed to offer every disciple a deeper biblical understanding of God's reign, a clear process of growth consistent with this holistic redemptive biblical vision, and a set of right practices to follow in each dimension of growth, regardless of the participant's particular sense of vocation. By building the curriculum on two influential ethical models of character formation, participants were given the tools to identify ways of deepening their commitment to Christ, growing in their conviction of the kingdom of God, cultivating a more compassionate heart, and developing the kind of Christ-like character that would bear the fruit of the kingdom in their daily lives."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["31b95ee0-a31c-43dc-8ec9-d97b30239a2d"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791132589143097344,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:05:47.544Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T14:58:25Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T07:42:44Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"69dc61c9-4d8e-4137-a8c3-65b963a4b035","accessControl_ssim":["9cefb004-e9d2-4eb4-9e0b-7e4612a7284c"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Brokenness and how admitting our foolishness opens the door to deeper authenticity in the process of sanctification"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T14:58:24Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T01:13:46Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["e17b80fb-e717-4837-8d5f-9840baab68e6"],"hasLease_ssim":["66eb8363-ab8f-4808-980f-e9b6fed651d7"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["David A Currie","Stephen A Macchia"],"year_tesim":["2010"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Anthony J Vartuli"],"publisher_tesim":["Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Theological anthropology--Christianity","Redemption--Biblical teaching","Spiritual life--Christianity"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This thesis challenges the modern day misunderstanding that being broken is the same as being wounded. It states that true brokenness is primarily about admitting the foolish directions of our hearts, often shaped by our wounded past. An exploration of Scripture and literature formed a context for the research, conducted as a semi-structured interview. It consists of interviews and follow-up conversations with people who are lay leaders in their respective church communities. The result of the research was that most people were challenged to think more biblically about brokenness and how God is working redemptively in the midst of it."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["31b95ee0-a31c-43dc-8ec9-d97b30239a2d"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791131146322444288,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:42:51.563Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T07:45:25Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:07:44Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"7bb909be-4667-47d9-ac53-fb444091fa68","accessControl_ssim":["e0ad7e9a-6363-4386-920b-eab7ccf33826"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["The unity of the Bible and God's purpose in Christ"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T07:45:24Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T01:47:01Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["5e019ebb-c2c8-438c-9111-0315c75c096f"],"hasLease_ssim":["4de2c456-be1e-4a29-87e4-b4358b2b1650"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Trinity Evangelical Divinity School"],"advisor_tesim":["Steve Roy"],"year_tesim":["2003"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Gary C Vet"],"publisher_tesim":["Trinity Evangelical Divinity School of Trinity International University"],"subject_tesim":["Redemption--Biblical teaching","Jesus Christ","Intercession","Salvation--Biblical teaching"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This project seeks to demonstrate that the Bible has an overarching unity which is expressed historically, linguistically, thematically and concepturally in seven creative-redemptive acts of God.
