It demonstrates how to develop the mission for grade five and six children who have never attended church.  The team has practiced in a playground where moral and religious education have taken place every Saturday and Sunday.  Through this program, they formed a community and became evangelized.  The sports mission also aims to help the children become responsible individuals.  It is designed with careful consideration of every stage of the children's development with regard to Erikson's educational theory.  The mission also aims to evangelize the parents through the children. Regarding Johan Huizinga's idea and argument on 'homo ludens,' this project attempts to contribute to the discussion on 'play theology' which is mainly being led by Jürgen Moltmann, Harvey Cox, and David L. Miller. The author's own experiences with pick-up soccer games and as part of this community served as the primary background.  Sociological and theological resources regarding play were evaluated, with particular interest in how the 'unwritten' rules of a play community help to structure that community.
