It is important to provide a relevant equipping program to transform the young-old from retiree to an active servant of God, thus to live their life fruitfully and meaningfully and accomplish the task given by God which serves to bless the middle old and old-old generation. This paper focuses on two main areas: the transformation principles through the study of the life of Moses from shepherd of the flock to the leader of the Israelite crowd, and a study of the equipping program of the Golden Army of Heaven (GAOH) and modifications of it to suit the Singapore context. Interviews were recorded, transcribed, and analyzed in order to understand the intrinsic and relational variables contributing to their service duration. Themes identified were (1) faith and belief as a framework, (2) personal and relational growth, and (3) growth mindset. A conceptual model of mindset appeared that served commitment and intent. This model is discussed, along with integration and other research models. The author analyzed data by the practical theology method of mutual critical correlation. Volunteers expressed a value for experiencing a sense of belonging, welcoming new persons onto ministry teams, experiencing a sense of shared leadership, the importance of pastoral leadership, and strong biblical motivations for ministry. College students are some of the most mold-able and send-able people and, for this reason, I will focus this thesis on them.  My argument will be to identify the student volunteer movement's methodology and compare it with today's mobilization methodology.  I will then compare the theological paradigms of today to those of the student volunteer movement's era. Using the historical methodology approach, I will compile these findings in an effort to research thoroughly the problem of How to Mobilize Christian Students to be Global Christians. The project director researched resources in the field of volunteer supervision, developed an annotated bibliography and a teaching standard with the help of experts in the field of Christian education, and, ultimately, created a training curriculum that addressed needs discovered in a survey of the church's volunteers and staff. This effort is framed by the Susquehanna Health Pastoral Care Department's transition from a center of clinical pastoral education to a hospital department comprised of professional chaplains ministering to the spiritual needs of patients, their families, and hospital staff. Two projects of home repair were secured with 33 people participating and 19 serving as a comparison group. Both groups received identical training and completed a Likert scale pretest and posttest questionaire.
