The study focused on an eight-session course based upon the Lord's Prayer.  The sessions, which were experiential in nature, were designed to enable participants to examine and share the nature of their prayer lives, and to explore ways in which they might expand their understanding of the grace of prayer.  In addition, participants were asked to read and respond to Leonard Boff's The Lord's Prayer: The Prayer of Integral Liberation, which is an interpretation of the Lord's Prayer from a liberation theology perspective.  A third component of the project was a series of sermons on the petitions of the prayer. Research methodology results in a presentation of a missionary history of the north, an undergirding mission theology, design of relevant ministry and Christian community models, principles for planning and implementation and a thematic collation of judicatorial reader responses which influence significantly the proposal. The use of a worship committee is a logical outgrowth of a theology of participation.  The basic purpose of the study was to develop a worship committee planning model and to test this model by offering a training course to worship planners from four diverse Mennonite congregations.  The effectiveness of the model and the course were evaluated by course participants.  Both were strongly affirmed. The concept of faith and faith stages developed by James W Fowler is used to inform an instrument-questionnaire of 14 general faith categories (for examples, God, justice, symbols, prayer, etc).  Upon completion of the questionnaire ten active and ten inactive members were interviewed.  The active members averaged a 4.1 score in the six stages and inactive members averaged a 3.8 score. A 1982 survey of congregations found sixty-nine percent with pastor pattern, sixteen percent bench, and eleven percent team.  A 1985 sampling of members showed substantial advocacy for broad sharing of leadership, with strongest support in team churches and least in bench. The goals of the study are to demonstrate the magnitude of the problem and describe the different ways the clergy minister to unchurched parents.  Fifteen parish clergy in the Archdiocese of Baltimore were interviewed.  The history of infant baptism along with current canon law is examined to put the unchurched parent problem in context. Rather it is evangelism that incorporates the proclamation of the Kingdom and the community development of the unchurched poor through the shared praxis between local church and community.  Therefore, Kingdom evangelism ultimately seeks a revolution in ecclesiology.  Not the church in and for itself but the church in and for the world is at stake in Kingdom evangelism. The study attempted to equip thirteen participants for this challenge by involving them in cognitive, affective, active, and votive dimensions of learning.  The project initiated: 1) dialogue with the poor; 2) involvement in an unfair job situation; 3) interest in a local advocacy group.  The study evaluated these results by interpreting session tape recordings, leaders' observations, and participants' written evaluations.
