A group of young adults was brought together to model this reclaiming.  This was done through reading articles, watching movies, and especially through sharing the lives and stories of ordinary Barbadian folk.  The youth reported a tremendous awakening of themselves as spirtual beings. There was a greater sense of self-worth, especially relating from their inheritance as blacks. This project was designed to investigate the adult-learning literature and then produce a computer-based Bible study program that would interest and motivate the user to further investigation of the Bible's contents and message. The adult-learning literature survey yielded significant principles that were applied to the formulation of scripts and storyboards for a computer learning system called 'Tune in the Bible.'  This computer program was produced using the IBM development software, 'Linkway Live!'  Twelve participants were employed to review and evaluate the content, effectiveness, and operation of 'Tune in the Bible.' A survey instrument was administered prior to and following their use of the program. Many aspects of the adult-learning model can be successfully transferred to a computer-based learning system. While theological belief is relatively high, active participation in churches is relatively low in this city (comparing national studies). The case study research method was utilized in this thesis to analyze the effectiveness of a non-denominational church planting (Christ's Church) in Amarillo, Texas to reach unchurched baby boomers.  It was determined that the church planting reached many in this target group and that it is an effective means of assimilating the unchurched into the Body of Christ. A caveat required this be accomplished with dignity.  The church was disconnected from its Christian heritage.  Canon's minister developed a medical ministry model.  The minister became physician and the congregation patient.  Preaching and pastoral care were used to recover the heritage and restore a sense of dignity. The last group entering as members was compared with the first group containing those entering as member associates.  Three-fourths of those who could chose the permanent category. A series of sermons was developed with the input from the project associates to help the Korean congregation understand the Christian message in the context of Korean shamanistic culture and to equip them as ministers for God and to others. He develops a plan of training for Christian Arabic women to be better prepared to reach out to their Muslim sisters.  The author works with a group of Arabic women in discipleship and witnessing, training, using materials such as Survival Kit and Masterlife.
