This study examines the role of worship in the African-American communityand why African-American males feel excluded from worship. One hundred nineteen medium-size congregations of the Oklahoma District Council of the Assemblies of God were studied with concentration given to the auxiliaries reported by those congregations.  The hypothesis was based upon the concept of a unified mission.  Implementation was guided by the belief that multiple functioning and giving auxiliaries affected positively world ministries giving.  The project failed to establish such a positive relationship due to disparities even among churches reporting the same number of auxiliaries. Four parent education sessions are developed with five practical home Bible study lessons for experiment.  The pastoral role models applied are the caring shepherd, guide shepherd, mediator, and vision giver. The teaching methods used are Groome's shared praxis approach and Westerhoff's enculturation. Jesus selected disciples and trained them, so that he could send them as servants.  The Apostle Paul said that the fundamental way for persons to mature is through discipleship training.  The Korean church has grown quantitatively in a way which is unparalleled in any other country.  The zeal as people get together is so tremendous that the impact of church meetings such as morning prayer, night prayer, diocesan worship are incalculable. Pastoral counseling was presented in the language of the conservative, Pentecostal church with an examination of the history of pastoral counseling movement, the Church of God, and a display of biblical counseling as it reflects upon psychology and the verbal inspiration of the biblical text.  A close look at the conservative vs liberal theological conflict of the pastoral counseling movement is examined.  It is research designed with a practical workshop that explains the pastoral counseling movement to the local church with information on developing a local church counseling center and the step-by-step process involved. Each unit contains a group discussion guide.  The material can be used in nine individual sessions or in a retreat setting.  The research of the project was carried out during work with hundreds of people involved in ministry at Friendship Chapel in Jenison, Michigan.  The second set of three study units presents a psychological explanation for diversity in the church based on the personality type theory of Carl G Jung.  The final three study units present applications of psychological type theory to three areas of significant diversity in the church. The objective of the project is to propose that the most effective approach in the theological education of Korean pastors (or English as a second language) is one using current programs in the context of the language and culture as part of the mission strategy in the metropolitan New York area.  The project leader used the pretest and posttest to identify the needs and provide action plans for the needs.  The emphasis here is to provide training using the current programs offered and not to create new programs.
