There are three dimensions: church, as a sacramental worship 'koinonia'; mission, as an aggressive outreach ministry through the cultural, ethnic, and religious barriers; and education center (academy), as a deep source for theological training, equipping and researching tools for effective Christian service all across the country. This work presents a strategic model for future development as well as a theological and practical base for multiple church activities, missions strategy and Christian education orientation. Results show that a model similar to that of the apostolic church works well in Russia today. Evidence of this is seen in the Temple of the Gospel as well as dozens of other new churches and mission points striving to reach the former Soviet Union for Christ."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["b2ad2862-737d-4dde-8145-b9b6962ac5f3"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791132175991570432,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:59:13.532Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T03:21:16Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:43:34Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"810b9788-faa7-4068-9af8-f1961d0f3676","accessControl_ssim":["674ac014-b483-4178-a670-73f032a4ccd0"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Illuminating experiences of healing through participating in the mysticism of Saint Ignatius Loyola's spiritual exercises"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T03:21:15Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T01:56:26Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["59da451b-6ee9-44e5-9c1c-4ac39f4c6eac"],"hasLease_ssim":["ef5047b3-a034-416e-9fae-f63b9cd73d97"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Candler School of Theology"],"advisor_tesim":["James W Fowler"],"year_tesim":["1994"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["John Horn"],"publisher_tesim":["Candler School of Theology of Emory University"],"subject_tesim":["Ignatius, of Loyola, Saint, 1491-1556","Spiritual healing"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This retrospective pilot project illuminates the interpersonal dynamic of Ignatian Trinitarian mystical prayer. It also examines the healing impact of Saint Ignatius Loyola's Spiritual Exercises on a select group of participants from within the theological diagnostic framework of the Ignatian guidelines for discerning spirits. Two competing contextual settings for giving and making the Spiritual Exercises, the 'at-home' model and the 'retreat house' model, vie to answer the central question: Which contextual setting better produces long-term healing, affecting the heart and behavior of the retreatant? Both contextual settings were found to be highly efficacious in bringing about healing."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Candler School of Theology"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["1e360310-aec8-4e88-a19a-00b4db71ef4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791134969097093120,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:43:37.245Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T03:21:16Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T08:49:28Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"f3ddde27-cbbe-41f9-b7c7-877e9cf37845","accessControl_ssim":["c05c3837-638b-47c3-bba6-f47f28a9f116"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Congregational identity development at New Life United Methodist Church: a biographical approach"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T03:21:15Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T05:05:33Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["392f2a56-13a4-4342-b0ba-208efc75155b"],"hasLease_ssim":["c95970d5-e719-45e5-bd66-320010be19b6"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Christian Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Calvin L Porter"],"year_tesim":["1994"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Keith Adkins"],"publisher_tesim":["Christian Theological Seminary"],"subject_tesim":["Congregations","Methodist Church"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["A biographical approach (from the inside) can develop congregational identity through pastoral leadership (from the outside).
