This project report describes a workshop which utilized research drawn from documents of the American Bishops' Committee on Priestly Life, the theology of Karl Rahner, and the developmental psychology of Erik Erikson.  The workshop, given on three occasions, enabled seminarians to examine their issues of personal growth within the broader perspectives of theology and psychology. A panel of lay persons plus a dialogue between biblical scholars made critical biblical scholarship available to the average believer using a video cassette recorder. Research involved perusing Vatican II documents and subsequent directives. Academic study of media production and related disciplines helped complete a new curriculum with a pilot video program which has been successfully field-tested. The author conducted a survey of Lutheran congregations in central Florida to test the theory that worship helps in the Sunday bulletin increases the comprehension of participants in the service.
