The method used in this study was grounded theory. The results show that chaplains go through a transformation and become new people. The changes that occur are categorized by five marks. These marks include: increased humility, improved pastoral identity, recognizing their finiteness, valuing their contributions, and finding strengths in weakness. This analysis compares and contrasts Mark Dever's ecclesiology with New Testament teaching, as well as the ecclesiology of J. L. Dagg, a prominent nineteenth century Southern Baptist theologian. Dever's ecclesiology provides a robust view of church membership, which is needed in many Southern Baptist churches. In response to this, researcher surveyed the wicked activities of demons in the lives and ministries of some biblical leaders and followers in the Old and New Testament. The researcher further reviewed the relevant literature. But, in spite of western academia's skepticism, researcher established that these demons incarnate, change forms and appear face-to-face to humans in multiple manifestations. Living Hope Baptist Church is a one-campus medium-sized Baptist church which currently serves the Sango community of the Greater Clarksville is to implement local community based church sites instead of drawing unchurched people only to the current campus of Living Hope Baptist Church. It is this pastor's vision Living Hope would become a lighthouse to her community by providing incarnational ministry to people in specified areas of Clarksville. This project included three goals. The researcher observed the need to prepare mission volunteers while living in England for five months by witnessing young people in economically depressed communities, networking with social organizations and discussing social and religious issues with British citizens. The terms 'gospel,' 'kerugma,' and 'contextualization' will be defined and delineated. Examining Paul's sermons in Acts with those by the early Apostles (Acts 2:14-42; 3:12-26) a unified threefold rhetorical methods and message is discovered. The project discovered the process of formation that was being accomplished through the Cohort Program by using a survey of twenty-four questions that was administered through SurveyMonkey.     The questionnaire gathered quantitative and qualitative answers that determined that there was spiritual formation occurring as a result of the Cohort Program. Gaining clarity on and then dealing with this confusion became the driving impetus for the project. Our leadership team was confused about the definition and conception of discipleship (clarified through a study of Philippians), about divine-human dynamic of discipleship (clarified through an analysis of O'Donovan's Self, world, and time), and about how to overcome impediments and gaps within our individual histories of discipleship (clarified through in-depth interviews concerning discipleship).
