This doctoral project included four sections. First, the project director explored the demographics of the four parishes comprising the District Eight Baptist Convention and the Annual Church Profile data of the partnering churches. Second, the project director examined other models of associational strategy planning to synthesize best practices of associational strategy planning. Third, the project director facilitated a selected group of leaders from the District Eight Baptist Convention in developing a strategy for the convention. With that in mind, I undertook this project to explore how to incorporate various kinds of preaching. The three-fold goal was to develop a biblical philosophy of preaching, preaching planning, and to create a process for long-range planning that incorporates the preaching of the whole counsel of God. The project argues that biblical preaching must intentionality and accurately incorporate the entire scriptures in the process of making disciples, and proclaimed in the context of public preaching and teaching. Calvary Baptist Church, Cochran, Georgia, in marital communication skills.  Equipping married couples in developing healthy communication skills through the use of cognitive, affective and psychomotor activities was the overarching goal of this project.  The communicative growth made by each couple was manifested through the successful results revealed by their own admission as well as external evaluation.  The project methodology showed that marital communication skills can be affected positively through practical teaching, personal examination, and purposeful training. It explored the biblical and theological foundation for inter-generational ministry, and reflected upon current literature. The rationale was shared with the elders and the congregation, and they engaged in several events planned to include multiple-age groups. Their responses to these events and attitudes toward inter-generational ministry were collected through a congregational survey and from feedback from the leaders. First, the project director researched demographics surrounding the church to determine the ethnic diversity and trends of the community. Second, he examined existing strategy models to determine the best methods for reaching multiethnic unity. Third, he enlisted a Strategic Planning Team from the church staff and leadership to develop a strategy model and action plans for reaching multiethnic unity. Finally, the project director presented the final product to selected church committees and teams for approval. This strategy was completed through four main goals: the team explored existing ministry evangelism strategies and outstanding church ministry evangelism practices of First Baptist Church, Bonifay; examined the ministry needs of Holmes County, Florida; created a ministry evangelism strategy; and presented this strategy plan to the church leadership. A church planter must consider all the various ethnic groups represented throughout his target area to determine how to reach them with the gospel.  The project director will research various church planting strategies, especially those strategies targeted toward multiethnic communities. Since 2005, the unchurched segment among this age group increased from 44% to 52%.  The project sought to demonstrate that activating spiritual gifts in young adults, complemented by mentoring and training, increases their church attendance and commitment to God. Research methodologies included cognitive interviews, pre and post surveys, structured observations, leadership development, written testimonials and participation in church activities.  Hypothesis testing measured attitudinal changes related to awareness, actions, perception and reasoning.
