A biblical marriage model--men leading in sacrificial love and unselfish service, and by treating their wives as equal partners--is needed within the Indian context. This project was successful in promoting change by impacting the leaders' marriages. They intend to model and teach this concept to their members. The project engaged fourteen members in a one-on-one, seamless electronic mentoring relationship with a mentor. The leaders then mentored other church members through the mentorship model. The project demonstrated that one-on-one mentoring relationship using electronic means is an effective way to create learning which leads to the knowledge and practice of the spiritual disciplines. Seven two-person teams composed of church officers carried the consecrated elements directly to the shut-ins each Communion Sunday. In this way, we not only hoped to give our recipients the joy of worship and visitation but also the consolation of knowing they are cared for by their church. A God-centeredness curriculum was designed and implemented in a local church context. The project involved a select group in a deepening process of self-exploration, meditation on God's Word, and contemplative commitment to God's way. This project was designed for all church members regardless of age, gender, and learning ability. The church's hierarchical structures function differently than newer models of relationship based leadership. CROSSROADS at Moravian Theological Seminary focuses on lay leadership development through theological education, teaching practical ministry skills, mentoring lay people to articulate call, and developing spiritual formation. The project included a strategy to create the community task force, and team building principles to help the task force to operate effectively. The project used the Myers-Briggs Personality Index to understand positive differences between team members and enhance the team's strength through diversity. The team utilized business principles of 'silos,' and 'Mutual accountability' through the Oz Principle.
