The project director has researched resources in the field of relational discipleship and developed as annotated bibliography and a teaching standard with the help of experts in the field of relational discipleship. The project evaluated an ongoing progressive, relational discipleship process implemented in a local church via a partnership between Worldwide Discipleship Association (WDA) and New Hope Baptist Church of Fayetteville, GA. The project director, targeting a select group of young adult leaders and using resources developed by WDA, presented a philosophical and practical overview of a relational discipleship paradigm through a two-day workshop. Also, the project director implemented a segment of a focused equipping and emotional model for ministry process by using a three to five-month training curriculum and experience. Both the SNC and the local pastor evaluated the coaching initiative by rating the effectiveness of the process and giving written comments. The Project Director designed curriculum to demonstrate this idea, and tested it on a group of six Christian artists in Marin County, California. The project followed the activities and progress of the group, both in their production of art and in their spiritual development. The participating artists provided feedback through instruments employed by the director to measure their development and how that development grew out of their collaborative art. This study hypothesized that a biblically oriented marriage enrichment course concerning relationship self-regulation (RSR) would increase both personal responsibility for marriage and marital satisfaction in marriage and that RSR, as a measure of personal responsibility, would positively correlate with marital satisfaction (MS). Forty-three couples were assessed on their relationship self-regulation and marital satisfaction, pre and post course. Barriers often keep the church from this natural growth. The purpose of this project is to train key leaders of New Life Baptist Church to identify these barriers and make plans to remove them. Through a leadership workshop and follow-up meetings leaders were prepared to use studies of the church and communtiy to arrive at detailed plans to address the brriers found. The project director used the material discovered through the research to develop a manual that may be used by churches in their search for and selection of a bivocational pastor.
