Based on the research, the project director developed four one-hour sessions. A total of nine men participated in the four training sessions. The four sessions involved cultivating the most important relationship, understanding the importance of leadership in the family, working on becoming a servant leader in the marriage, and modeling Christian fatherhood to children. A working outline of the project goals included the following: to research the field of literature concerning men in family leadership skills, to develop training sessions so the selected men could become effective spiritual leaders in family leadership skills, and to equip the men in effective family leadership skills. The reasons are many, including: many see choirs as dated and irrelevant; increasing business and life challenges of Christians preclude participating fully; decline of interest and desire in younger generations to participate; and the natural attrition of older, faithful generations retiring. However, the Bible reveals that choir is a God-ordained ministry, for heavenly and earthly worship. The second phase included the development of workshop lesson plans, a participant workbook, and a discipleship handbook. The third phase involved equipping the selected group using the workshop materials. The workshop consisted of six sessions, including an introductory and concluding sessions. The project director's intent of the project was to develop a systematic method to train selected members to help new adult members grow spiritually.
