The project director began the project with research. Equipping the selected students concluded the project. Research included evangelism strategies and outdoor recreation that fit the context of the generation and local college campus. Upon completion of the research, the project director designed and implemented training to equip the selected students to use personal evangelism skills in conjunction with outdoor recreation. The project director researched resources in the field of mentoring and youth culture and developed an annotated bibliography and a curriculum with the help of experts in the field of education. The director created the training curriculum used in a seven-session workshop with a selected group of adults who volunteered to serve as mentors at the request of student mentees. The curriculum for the workshop was developed with the guidance of professionals in the area of curriculum and instructional design. This ministry project was conducted in two strategic locations: Milpitas, California and Shanghai, China.  The primary objective of the seminar was for the participants to gain a greater perspective of and to discover their role in missions.  Eighteen participants provided the survey data prior to attending the seminar and twelve completed the survey data after taking a trip. The project director began this project with a discussion with Dr. Wayne Harvey, Director of Missions of the Santa Fe River Association, by researching the field of evangelism, and by the administration of a survey in High Springs, Florida, to determine if churches are doing marketplace evangelism. The project director researched various evangelism materials to determine which evangelism skill development would have the most potential to be effective in marketplace evangelism. After reviewing the literary work in the field of evangelism, analyzing the results of the survey, compiling a list of evangelistic skills, and the development of a comparison grid, the project director developed a curriculum and a one-day workshop, and trained selected members in marketplace evangelism skills. Working with a ten-member team from Litz Manor Baptist Church, we journeyed through eight distinct phases of transformation. Each phase utilized questionnaires, group coaching and teamwork principles to elicit open and transparent feedback. By focusing on outward ministry possibilities, this team discovered several options for future growth, implementing three. This author was invited to speak at the inaugural pastor's conference hosted by the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. The need for a biblical pre-marital and marriage counseling manual that will equip Protestant ministers to assist people in building their marriages on the foundation of God's word was discovered through formal and informal discussions with indigenous ministers. The manual emphasizes the truth that marriage is God's creation and not solely man's institution, as propogated by the Soviet regime. Therefore the Bible is the source for identifying the purpose as well as understanding the principles for marriage. Chapters include the following teachings: the authority and sufficiency of scripture for biblical counseling, building a biblical foundation for marriage, pre-marital counseling, divorce and remarriage, and counseling for major marriage problems.
