Participants completed a quantitative pre-test and quantitative post-test, including qualitative questions. The results of the study indicated that the Healing Care Groups Curriculum had a positive impact on the spiritual renewal of the participants. Examples abound in the Old Testament where God's people and messengers are exhorted to declare tot he nations with joyful song and testimony what the Lord God Almighty has done. In the New Testament, the angels who brought the Good News to the shepherds, the Lord Jesus Christ himself and the apostles furnish practical illustrations of joyful exuberance in proclaiming the gospel. But there seems to be a dearth of recipients and custodians of the Good News who are eager to go out and share the gospel with joyful passion powered by the joy of the Lord. This project embarked on recruiting and motivationally training believers from churches in USA to become confident and joyful participant sharers of the Good News. Traditional American blues melodies in the public domain offered a rich source of musical accompaniment for Peruvian worship songs. A congregation in Tarapoto, Peru, participated in a series of six lyric writing workshops using an action research model. Group poetry writing methods based on the work of Kenneth Koch were implemented. Elements of the lament psalms were incorporated into each workshop song. The research proves Whitefield's doctrinal preaching content was a primary factor for why God used him so mightily in the Great Awakening era and beyond contrary to common misinterpretations for his success. A six-week preaching series presented the six principles to our church and included evaluative surveys analyzed in this project. This project tested the process of intentionally utilizing spiritual practices such as prayer, scripture reading, journaling and group reflection as a part of short term mission trips to strengthen spiritual growth among participants. Participatory Action Research was the primary research method employed for the development of a reflection guide and follow-up interviews with volunteers in mission. This project focuses on what it would take for ordinary Canadian Anglican Christians to incorporate creation care into their daily practice of discipleship. Research explored servant leadership, distance leadership, and cross-cultural leadership. Field interviews with more than 80 global leaders suggested that effective global leaders (a) employ servant leadership by humbly serving and developing others into mature, autonomous leaders, (b) overcome relational distance and build trust using advanced communications technology, and (c) grow in self-awareness of cultural bias.
