Becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ involves transformation and relies on the sufficiency of God's grace to produce change in a person's life. However, traumatic events and the influence of Post-modernism present unique challenges to the discipleship process. This project uses an eight week study to help new Christians who have experienced trauma begin growing in their faith while addressing real life issues resulting from these events. A strategic planning team, consisting of lay members, was invited to participate in the assimilation strategy process.  The project director leveraged strategic principles as well as assimilation principles to lead the team in the development of the strategy, in order to enable members at NABC to be more intentional with assimilation efforts. This is also an on-going issue occurring in Canada. The purpose of this study is to describe how two Chinese congregations and a mission organization evangelize older people in the city of Toronto. The researcher utilized a mixed methods approach to collect ethnographic data of Christian efforts evangelizing older people by the three groups of Christians. Together the director and strategic leadership team developed a strategy for discipling adults at Anthony Grove. The workshop consists of four sessions that move the team from discovery to action.  The results of the workshop lead to specific outcomes from the team. Upon completion of the workshop individual action plans are assigned to each team member which are submitted to the project director one week after the assignment is given. Six sermons on personal relationship with God, uniqueness in Christ, commitment to the church, and hope for the future of the church, were prepared and preached. The select members were given evaluations to determine the extent to which they perceived these sermons to effect specific aspects of spiritual formation. It is good people who can change politics from 'dirty' to cleanliness. The argument favors clergy involvement in politics. Zambia's declaration as a Christian Nation augments the claim. The call for 'separation of Church and state' is an ideology that cannot take effect in Zambia because people there are prominently religious. It is practically impossible to separate the two.
