She researched the understanding of adoption from a biblical, theological and family spirituality perspective. His congregation is made up of soldiers who are twenty to twenty-two and do not like the army life.  However, the soldiers encounter religions by choice in the military service.  Many soldiers come into contact with Christianity.  The author has thought about what these young soldiers want in their own spiritual lives and how the military church can help them. The author therefore asked the following questions regarding military mission in the light of pastoral care: (1) What is the meaning of military service for men, and what is the meaning of the period of military service in the life cycle?  (2) What is the soldiers' life before enrollment in military service, and what do they think of their lives after their service is completed? The ministerial staff and congregation participated in this project by completing a 360 degree survey of the participants.  The project director presented the results to the ministerial staff in coaching sessions. Society has mis-judged them and abandoned them in the system.  Leaders in the church, school, local government and even parents have often failed to nurture seeds once rooted, and now disconnected from the soul.  Their hearts are saddened, spirit is broken, due to rejection and abandonment. As the Chairperson of its Order, the author examined the question: how can the Order of Elders be a viable body which will increase the number of elders in its activities and nurture them spiritually?  First the author explores the history of peer accountability and the creation of the Order of Elders based on the Wesleyan tradition and theology/doctrine.  Then the author presents a case study from the author's own experiences. It is the thesis of this project that it is possible for the health of pastoral marriages to be enhanced, even in the midst of ministry. The project director wrote, designed, and led two seminars and an overnight retreat in order to address this need. This examined the biblical and theological basis for expositional preaching in the local church, as well as the character and calling of the preacher. This project also examined and evaluated Charles Haddon Spurgeon's model of training aspiring ministers. A survey was designed to collect data on various church planting organizations including local churches, denominations, regional judicatories and para-church church planting organizations. The survey was distributed at the Exponential '08 church planting conference which was sponsored by the Church Planting Network.
