This study explored how faith changes and develops at times of suffering and after, using Pargament's RCOPE and the author's questionnaire on faith behaviors.  Using McClure's roundtable pulpit method for an 8-week study, the author taught a lectionary-based class focused on making sense of suffering, and wove personal stories, scripture, and emerging theological themes to inform the preaching. Chapter 1 presents the problem and states the goals as the solution to the problem. Chapter 2 addresses the biblical rationale for enhancing inter-church Christian fellowship. Chapter 3 shows the credence given to the rationale of the project through the sociological environment, the corporate world, and society in general, for example, the growing place of women in the professional business and public life and the growing importance of the issue in ecumenical relationships, school life, and workplace experiences. In Chapter 4, the focus is the actual procedures of the research project. This chapter encompasses the step-by-step procedure. Chapter 1 gives an historical insight about Corinthian Baptist Church. Attention is given to the reason why there needs to be change of leadership in Corinthian Baptist Church. Chapter 2 begins with a biblical and theological analysis about transformational leadership and the need to place a biblical pattern for developing and training leaders. Chapter 3 presented an investigation of transformational leadership process and the use of leadership in two different styles. Chapter 4 describes the ten week process of equipping a selected group of leaders of the Corinthian Baptist Church to initiate a transformational leadership ministry with specific emphasis on leadership. Chapter 1 outlines the purpose and goals of the project and gives one a sense of the history and setting of Cave City Baptist Church. A brief summary of the value of church marketing and definitions are included. Chapter 2 begins with a brief survey of the state of the church in North America, but is primarily devoted to providing a strong biblical defense of some church marketing concepts. Included is application of how churches can contextualize these concepts in their fields. Chapter 3 gives the reader a summary of the rural state of the church today. Then it provides a rather comprehensive analysis of modern marketing terms, methods, strategies and also examples of how some churches, both rural and urban, have succeeded in growth using missiological church marketing. Chapter 4 gives a step-by-step description of the project as it was executed during the summer of 2002. Some evaluation is included. Chapter 5 provides a more thorough evaluation and and analysis of the project results with some personal observations. This work contends that although these is some danger in blindly applying concepts of church marketing without biblical foresight, there are some church marketing principles which can be defended from the scriptures and used to expand the kingdom of God. The goal is to identify challenges facing the church so that an appropriate plan may be devised to overcome them. Chapter 4 details the process and method of the project. A series of expository sermons was presented while an ongoing evangelism training strategy was implemented.
