The model design consisted of three sermons with pre- and post-test surveys. This action research model involved the researcher's efforts to identify changes in attitudes of participants toward developing an authentic identity.  The model shows that the participants sometime judge themselves according to the perceptions and standards of whites. Biblical lessons were used to enhance the faith and spiritual formation in the youth of the Intermediate Sunday School class through the process of Christian Education.  Pre and post surverys, questionnaires, and observations measured the effects of the lessons. However, very few church workers have opportunity to receive formal teaching about the truth of the gospel. As a result, the foundation of the faith of the believers becomes terribly weak and unstable. The goal of this project is to teach church workers in China the basic truth of the gospel in a Chinese context for personal evangelism. It will seek to contextualize the truth of the gospel with the unique characteristics of ancient Chinese written characters, which amazingly contain the stories of the gospel. Church workers will learn the knowledge and skills of utilizing a figurative and factual way to share the gospel with Chinese-contextualized messages. The training on this spiritual triad was accomplished with thirty members/leaders in six sessions through the use of Bible instruction and other professional materials.  Interviews, post-test, and focus groups were used to measure the effect of the training. The four tested congregations exhibited greater interest in faith and health. These congregations determined the most prevalent congregational diseases, stressors, and some previously unknown health issues.
