Research on the life of Christ and other materials on encouragement resulted in a manual consisting of five subjects pertaining to encouragement.  One of the goals was to obtain an understanding of encouragement that goes beyond the general idea of simply being positive or affirming. Everybody admires those churches that have achieved great increase in membership almost overnight. This research discloses that the only way out is to go back to the Bible. The Beehive Theory which this author presents here can be a vital strategy to deal with the root problem. The methods used in this research are from the perspectives of statistics, biblical theology and practical theology. There are two parts of this research. The first part is an analysis of the Church in Taiwan today.  The second part is to develop strong preaching, strong personal evangelism, power healing and personal participation of the pastor based on Bible. The need for this school prompted the author of this project to begin such a school, with the help of a church in Kamloops.  This was accomplished by assessing the desire for such an institution from potential students by means of a questionnaire that was sent to churches in and around Kamloops.  The district officials were also polled and when the results were evaluated, the serious planning for the opening of the school went forward.  The school opened and had twenty students initially signed up.  The first class was taught and the project ended at that point, even though other classes were planned.  There is an evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of the project. There is no way of being human without participating in culture, for it is through culture that human community is created. This dissertation is a study of the work of 19th century missionaries into Chinland, Union of Burma. An evaluation of the data shows that these missionaries were not sensitive enough to the indigenous culture and tradition of the Chin.
