In nine sessions the program deals with the nature and purpose of the liturgical homily, qualities of outstanding preaching, creativity, preaching the Scriptures, the preacher's faith, understanding the congregation, preaching the prophetic word, and preaching on occasions such as weekday eucharists, weddings, funerals, and children's liturgies. Adventist buildings should articulate the church's theology.
