Working with selected church members in two seminars the project sees a reduction in anxiety and a steep rise in evangelical encounters among participants. Local congregations need to overcome historical errors related to Christian stewardship. In most North American parishes there is refusal to talk about money, there is compartmentalization of spiritual and material matters, and there is no coherent theology of Christian stewardship.
