Three testing instruments assesed marital satisfaction while three others assessed problem-solving skills, self-esteem, and personal tendencies. The project directed a process that drafted a statement of congregational identity for approval by the congregation. The project prepares young adult leaders to develop a ministry plan for young adults, teaching them characteristics and needs of young adults, training them to develop and implement surveys, and directing them in developing a ministry plan based on survey results.  The ministry plan was evaluated by selected church leaders and three young adult ministers. Research for the project concentrated on theological, historical, and practical understanding.  Eight training sessions helped participants to understand their gifts.  Four spiritual gift assessment tools assisted each participant in discovering gifts. Selected members developed an appropriate strategy, providing a model for other Anglo congregations in transitional neighborhoods.
