A vision team made up of lay-leaders from BSBC was appointed. They examined demographic information of the church and the surrounding community. The informatoin included attendance data, financial data, and the demographic make-up and trends of the community. Next, the vision team assisted the project director by giving insight into an overall strategy for revitalization and setting goals to accomplish health and growth. The author examined the meaning and importance of volunteer works from the Bible and history. In addition, the author studied John Wesley's movement of revival and his practice of love, and discussed the influence on personal and social holiness through it. Next, the author practiced a project called 'Diakonia Training School' for five weeks for ten members of Beautiful Church. All of the participants experienced many changes in their personal faith and the community of faith through the training. The scriptural pattern for this process is seen in the metaphor of God's breath, which repeatedly 'inspires' creation with new life. In order to explore this phenomenon, the author built an arts ministry within a local church with three branches: an art gallery with 3-5 exhibitions per year, a program of arts education with 3-5 offerings per year, and a regular practice of including the arts in worship in a variety of settings. This missional conversation is framed within the larger missio-ecclesiological theology. God's mission to the world can only be understood through the incarnate Word of God. Incarnation is presented as the model for fulfilling God's purpose in the world.
