Pastors were encouraged to maintain this perspective by developing a strategy for regularly embracing this new viewpoint in their lives. The pastors participated in three two-hour workshops, and one five-hour retreat. Through questionnaires, evaluation surveys, and discussions, the project leader was able to assess the overall effectiveness of the project. The project director developed and delivered a seminar on mentoring and a retreat on coaching for the purpose of introducing participants to a sixty-day biblical peer mentoring relationship. The project was evaluated by participants' performances on a cumulative examination, covenant and goal statements, and individual interviews following the sixty-day period. The ministerial staff and congregation participated in this project by completing a 360 degree survey of the participants.  The project director presented the results to the ministerial staff in coaching sessions.
