M. E. Church reflects the multicultural and socio-economic diversity of the Albuquerque, New Mexico region.  While the church overall may be considered healthy, a problem exists in the way organizations and auxiliaries function.  The situation results in members acting as individuals rather than a part of the whole.  What is needed can be found in the identity of the early church as the body of Christ.  The body of Christ in 1 Corinthians 12:4-26 provides an emphasis on relationships within the congregation of connection, coordination and accountability.
