She connected the God-human covenant with the covenant of Christian marriage and suggested that love, loyalty and mutual respect are some of the elements central to keeping covenant.  The discernment of this covenant relationship with God and each other was described through biblical exegesis, theological doctrine, contemporary writings and artistic expression. The nature of God's communication is understood as personal and relational.  From a narrative theological base, imagination is the primary tool used to understand the Bible in general and the dream passages specifically.  There is a consideration of the influence dreams have had historically.  A pro-active research method is employed during two group meetings, where the participants are instructed to pray daily for each other and to keep a dream journal.
