Research design methods included a two-part data collection effort. Part one consisted of a wide-scope examination of the general nature of leadership. Part two contained a focused, three-phased analysis of American African leadership figures. Data taken from project research revealed the nature of American African leadership development. Additional research revealed ineffective leadership paradigms such as a black theology of liberation.
