The major research component consisted of a survey of  management attitudes and values in the area served by  King-Bay Chaplaincy.  The findings of the survey and the survey process itself influenced the strategy and development of the chaplaincy. The entire ministry of the chaplaincy is experimental in nature, as it is not based on a traditional model of ministry.  The Project Report is an account of the evolution of the new ministry, based on a problem solving approach which utilizes the research data from the survey in its planning process.
