Therefore, the author developed a seminar on traditional Methodist spiritual practices and translated it into Russian. In the course of the work on the seminar and delivery of it, the author spent time in Russia and in the United States consulting with pastors, academics and lay people who serve, or who work with the people of the United Methodist Church in the Eurasian Area. All Christians are required to grow spiritually. In both Testaments, God revealed himself as a holy God, and commands that all his children be holy. Books and even courses on spiritual formation cannot, in and of themselves, produce spiritual transformation in believers' lives. Only the Holy Spirit can form and shape them into the image of Christ. With that in mind, the present project entailed the development of a course on spiritual formation at Faculté de Théologie Evangélique de l'Alliance Chrétienne (FATEAC). It evaluates the 'Perspectives in Feminist Theology' curriculum which is prepared as a group-guided study for the Perkins School of Theology.  It evaluates Groome's 'shared praxis' approach and its potential for effectively presenting material which is 'engaged' in the cause of the full participation and empowerment of women in church and society.  The thesis is that upon completion of the curriculum, the student and participating group have an introduction to various models of feminist theology and are prepared to continue the feminist theological task through further study and personal participation. Conclusions are based on evaluations of participants in the study and from a Perkins School of Theology senior who worked with the currriculum.
