This project is an historical overview of Seventh-Day Adventist and African religious culture, seeking to extract the principal tenets of each tradition to blend them into a more dynamic worship style that is appealing to the African American community and faithful to the traditions and objectives of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church at the same time.  This project suggests that since traditional Black Seventh-Day Adventist public evangelism typically combines 'the truth' (rationality) with rhythm (emotion), by coloring the weekly worship service with these elements, a dynamic worship style could result.
