Its purpose was to qualitatively explore, using surveys, focus group and sermon analysis, the place of each of the proofs in informing the communicative bridge building of sermons among evangelical English-speaking pastors and missionaries in Peru. The data was collected from sixty randomly selected ruling elders who answered the questionnaire.  It was discovered that there is a higher correlation between specific academic training and good performance than between life experiences and good performances.  One must not conclude that good academic training will cause outstanding elder performance. There may be a third factor influencing both.  A supplement to the study itself provides a theological framework for the raw data.
