The author concluded that the elderly need: to be accepted by others; help in continuing their church development; opportunities to serve others; and to participate in program development. Architecture, schedules, and transportation plans must support the participation of the elderly in church life. He designed a questionnaire on the Likert Response model to measure commitment, fellowship, power, change, unity and values. This instrument was used as a pre-test and a post-test. His treatment involved a sermon series, a core group and a congregational retreat.  The data reveals that congregational unity increased during the implementation. The project deals with churches which basically have a heritage of an evangelical background with prime emphasis on the preaching of the gospel and a definite experience in Christ.  For this project six churches were personally interviewed and fifty-eight churches responded to a questionnaire in relationship to the ministries of their churches.
