The research methods utilized were surveys and interviews of students, faculty and judicatory partners as well as the researcher's observations of other related interactions. The project identified the strengths and weaknesses of the program throughout its ten-year history and was successful in gathering data which will be beneficial to the future of the program. The researcher will conduct interviews to discuss coping mechanisms in personal and corporate crisis and develop a sermon series entitled: grace for the crisis. He will then measure modification in beliefs through a survey given to congregational and focus groups from within First United Methodist Church of Galesburg, Illinois. The project consisted of a focus group of thirteen pastors participating in a workshop forum. A quantitative research design was used with pre and post-tests.
