Research into the current literature on marriage, an interview with a clinical psychologist, and questionnaires indicate that communication and conflict resolution skills are vital for good marriages.  Exercises are assigned to the couples during the seminar to put these skills into practice. The major biblical concepts of marriage and sexuality are presented. The thesis was that churches that corporately emphasized the pastoral roles of enabler and evangelist grow more rapidly than those which place less emphasis on these roles.  A questionnaire was administered to two groups of churches -- a control group of churches that grows approximately ten percent per annum and a randomly selected group of churches that grow slowly or decline in size. Two hundred and forty-four questionnaires were analyzed to determine the influence of the program on life style, witness and evangelism and to see if it encouraged and produced evangelism callers.  The results in general were positive. The study is based on a Factor Analysis of 155 questionnaires, gathered from individuals who attend 12 UCC churches and one conference. It reveals that dual-paycheck families do not value any function of a church's ministry more than single-paycheck families.  It also reveals that the more one is involved in church activities, the more one values all church activities. This project studies this decrease through a review of the history of the Korean military chaplaincy.  It uses questionnaires to discover the current conditions in the military chaplaincy and adapts this information to the situation in the PCK. The author conducts interview testing to discover if attitude shifts occur as a result of the subcommittee's work.  He surveys 62 congregations about their confirmation practices.
