Based on the results of the assessment, a six-week expository sermon series was prepared and delivered. Quantitative and qualitative evaluative procedures indicated that the series, informed by insights from the pastoral assessment, did enhance the congregation's sense that the messages were connecting with them. Three sub-hypotheses relating to sex, age and religiosity also are tested.  Data is collected using Dean's MmPI and a Theological Preference Inventory (TPI) developed for this research (reliability: .89).  The MmPI results (N'119) are clustered into four personality clusters.  In excess of 1400 chi-square analyses are made between the personality clusters and the TPI results with virtually no significant findings (p\u003c.05).
