The project establishes a warrant for gospel contextualization with biblical and historical examples. On this foundation the project contrasts modernism and postmodernism, considers influences shaping a Generation X profile, and presents four 'contours' of a contextualized gospel for this postmodern generation. In conversation with experience, culture, and Christian faith, the project describes and analyzes the complexities of the Malaysian reality, bringing that reality into dialogue with Christian theology so that a pastoral response to the specific context can emerge.
