To equip foster parents to teach a biblical worldview to children in their care, the project director facilitated a three-part workshop on Friday, June 24, 2011 as part of the Alabama Baptist Children's Homes and Family Ministries' annual training conference for foster parents. The contemporary literary foundation of the project is the concept of shared vision as described by Peter Senge. The research was done with five leadership teams within the congregation to determine the level to which they are vision-driven. A pre- and post-experience world view measurement was collected in the quasi-experimental design.  Quantitative analysis indicated that, while both groups' world view developed, the treatment group's change was not significant.  In fact, the control group showed a statistically significant higher average change score.  Analysis also showed a significant change score difference for those participants who read the intervention and reflected. The author researched scripture, theological sources, and psychological sources related to church alienation and worldview violation. He interviewed sixteen people identified as alienated from church using criteria of PTSD to evaluate if the participants display evidence of traumatic stress response. Each participant showed evidence of traumatic stress response present from worldview violation connected with religious beliefs. The project reviewed worldview, contextualization and biblical elements relating to making Irish disciples. The literature search conducted followed the development of Celtic spirituality along with two counter themes or antithetical elements, Christianity and the English in Ireland. Scripture makes it clear that love for the stranger through the practice of Christian hospitality is a mandate for the church.  Scripture also provides instruction for our conversations which are a critical element for communicating the humility, acceptance and love of the gospel.  This study has demonstrated that while the faithful practice of hospitality and redemptive conversation is a vital part of the church's mission, it is becoming increasingly difficult to be faithful in these practcies.  A review of literature and a series of interviews have exposed the worldview and external factors affecting faithfulness. When interviewees embraced the gospel, were taught by example, were encouraged, and engaged in hospitality and redemptive conversation, the daily resistance and barriers toward faithful practice were often overcome.
