This project assessed their academic, social, and spiritual formation necessary to maintain their cultural identity as they adapt to the American culture to discover how to help improve their self-esteem, to teach healthy relationships, and teach freedom from the need to oppress, control, or to feel superior to others. The data collected and analyzed discovered that these young Liberians surveyed had good attitudes toward their race and national identity as Liberians.  They feel loved by God and believed they are good persons. As Korean youths grow up in the United States, they become Americanized, creating cultural and generational problems between them and their parents. Most problems originate from changing family roles, the generation gap, cultural problem/shock, language problems, different values, identity crises, and conflicting attitudes toward church affiliation.
