The author researched how the consecutive religions with their beliefs and practices throughout the history of Egypt have combined to shape the mentality, worship, manners, and character of today's Egyptians. Muslim attitudes toward Christianity are analyzed as expressed in the literature of the period and in a field study conducted in 2011-2012. The theme of God's saving victory is identified as an aid in helping Muslims understand the Bible. Jesus' person and work are explained in terms that are more comprehensible to Muslims. Muslim attitudes toward Egypt's Christians are explored. Biblical and missiological reflections were supported by a study of the overall and financial status of the Egyptian SDA Church by means of surveys, interviews, charts and graphs.  It was discovered that the Egyptian SDA Church is fast approaching a state of deterioration and decay that must be addressed promptly and reversed. The first four chapters detail relevant aspects of Egypt's history, culture and religions.  Later chapters discuss the obstacles to reaching Egyptians, suggests a bridge for reaching them, and considers the nature of the Egyptian church and its role in leadership training.  The final two chapters deal with resources for evangelization in Egypt and the role of Egypt in fulfilling the Great Commission worldwide. The course of instruction was developed on the basis of interviews with nine church leaders and the administration of a questionnaire to 120 randomly chosen young Egyptian Christians.
