The strategy team met once a week for six weeks to develop the strategy for the church. The project director, based on completed research, instructed the strategy team on the findings of millennial research, outreach practices, and strategy planning essentials. The project director then led the team to develop the multifaceted strategy. In this dissertation the author surveyed and interviewed missionaries to determine what spiritual disciplines most helped them stay effective in their ministry. The results of this research point out certain spiritual disciplines which missionaries use to remain spiritually healthy-prayer, engaging Scripture, worship, fellowship, and service.  Other disciplines were done to a lesser extent.  There was also recognition by the missionaries that workload, busyness, one's environment, and cross-cultural living impacted the effective practice of those disciplines. The project was implemented with fourteen current and future leaders of Calvary Baptist Church. The project director did biblical research on the missional commands of Christ and general research on the missional mindset. Lesson plans were formulated and project participants were led through seven equipping sessions. Evaluation of participants' progress toward the missional mindset goal was measured with a pretest and posttest assessment instrument and a report time held eight days after the equipping session during an evening worship service at Calvary Baptist Church.
