The study promotes a pedagogy that weds the rational, affective, practical ad spiritual. It looks to exemplary teachers, the monastic witness, and the Catholic Worker movement for examples of educational healing and vitality.     The methodology includes narrative, theological reflection, and the relaying of little-known histories.
