The Church claims a theology of communion of the saints which is exemplified in the sacrament of the Lord's Supper. However, it has not significantly crossed the cultural divide. This paper examines the understanding of two of these church communities, one Mexican-American and one Anglo-American, regarding the Lord's Supper. The theological principal undergirding this study maintains that the church of Jesus Christ must be a communion of saints, working as partners, as they witness to God's grace. This study examines how understanding their identity as a communion of saints will transform and revitalize their ministry and mission together.
