The variables measured were: recall, communication, attention, stimulation of thought and emotion, persuasion, and enjoyment.  Groups of students saw either a multimedia presentation or a slide presentation and were compared to a control group, which saw no visual elements.  The multimedia group outperformed the control group, while the slide group performed oppositely. Though the Holy Spirit is a basis for overcoming today's dualistic contradiction, the Christian understanding of the Holy Spirit is distorted. The method was to survey 100 indivduals using the Lawrence Image of God Inventory.  The two targeted groups were blacks born in America and blacks born in the West Indies.  The results of this study showed young people between the ages of 11 and 19 more accepting to the gospel message, scoring highest on the Presence and Acceptance scales.  It also showed baby boomers in their 40s accepting when given a chance to discuss and dialog. Biblical and Rabbinic texts are combined with Heinz Kohut's theories.  The author links nodal points of the Exodus with critical phases of personality development and with the inner development of the counselor. While the results did not establish such a relationship, they do argue for a possible relationship between God-image and the Millon (MCMI) dependent self-other orientation at the suggestive level of interpretation.  These results, which were obtained through contingency square analysis with chi-square, were bolstered by parallel diagnostic data. Such a Bible study, with careful attention to using both hemispheres of the brain, was constructed.  The Bible study proved to be effective in raising self-image to a more positive
