Reflecting believing was used as method. The researcher facilitated four weekly 2.5-hour sessions ('icebreakers'; one-on-one walkabouts; 'speed-faithing'; and focus sessions). Data strongly supported the research goals, with subjects' reporting positive reactions, relational learning, knowledge of one another's traditions, and an emerging commitment to continued interfaith engagement and leadership. The design of the project included a quantitative and qualitative survey that assessed reviewers' observations of the helpfulness of the resource supporting an eight-week group study. They must attend to God's command for older women to be biblical mentors, helping younger women follow Him. The generation of emerging adult women in our churches create the opportunity. They desire mentors to help them navigate the transition to adulthood. Therefore, women's ministry leaders must learn how they can facilitate biblical mentoring relationships for emerging adult women. This project pursued this question through biblical, theological, and current literature in the field, and qualitative research involving emerging adult women and women's ministry leaders. Participants took part in a fourteen-week mindfulness attention skills training group discernment practice program. A mixed-methods approach was used (quantitative measures and phenomenological qualitative inquiry). A paired-samples t-test determined that no statistically significant change occurred in sex-role identification in the posttest. For the development, geo-cultural situations, Korean church-associated issues and various women-specific needs were examined.  After the implementation with a sample group, through various surveys and group discussions, the methodology, purpose and target-audience identification were refined and resulted in a long-term comprehensive program called 'Wise Women Project.' The biblical research focused on the household code, texts that have been used to call for the silence of women and a philosophy of reading scripture that elevates the conversation above a war over isolated scriptures. The historical research provided evidence of women serving in church leadership throughout the history of the early church. There are many methods used today to interpret the Bible and decide what verses are descriptive and which are prescriptive.  Most Christians do not know what hermeneutic they use, and often do not apply any hermeneutic consistently.  Further, there are some interpretive methods that are not God-focused and should not be used but are quite common today in the Christian community. The goal of this thesis is: 1. to help individuals understand their biases and predispositions in various areas; 2. to learn the types of hermeneutics that exist; 3. to find out what hermeneutic(s) they use and that they consider are viable; 4. to decide what their view is on the authority of the Bible; 5. to be able to read the various views from both camps of the issue while critiquing each writer's biases and hermeneutics, and to then apply the hermeneutic they have found that they use in order to discover their own view on the issue of women in leadership in the
