The results illustrated the possibility of this kind of story taking place in other presbyteries.  The method of research implemented was to present the story to three groups of eight asking them to complete a survey.  The survey was used to identify what made the chartering possible. A theological examination of renewal and giftedness precedes a history of renewals since the Reformation.  The origin, structure and development of the Presbyterian Church follow.
