The content of this impact study was Dallas Willard's The divine conspiracy video series. Goals were measured by Likert scale pre- and post-tests. Participants came to understand the intended path for Christ followers to be an active apprenticeship to Jesus. Disciples, as practitioners, keep ongoing company with Jesus, in order to become like him in their inner person. This ministry seeks to engage both care giver and care receiver with Christ whose redeeming presence brings wholeness and wellness. It is a case study involving seven Stephen Ministry leaders. The project explored the understanding of pastoral care as 'cure of souls' and the engagement of intentional presence in that cure, Christ's presence and human presence. The author develops a theology of hopeful worship, based on the understanding that in worship we participate in a Messianic banquet already begun in the passion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Beginning with a review of current literature about eschatological dimensions of worship, the author describes major authors in the field, their issues, and their insights. The project constructs a theology of hopeful worship based on eschatological dimensions of regular weekly worship services, sacraments of baptism and the Eucharist, and a liturgical calendar. The author concludes that concentration on eschatological dimensions of worship makes those who worship aware not only of the 'end times' but also of the nearness of Christ.
