The purpose of this study was to explore how Christians apply sermons in the workplace. This study was a qualitative study, employing a semi-structured interview protocol with eight individuals employed in a variety of profession. Data was analyzed using the constant-comparative method. A qualitative methodology using observation, narratives, face-to-face interviews, and a survey was employed. The findings suggest systemic and organizational issues concerning policies and procedures which include a neglect and lack of positive rewards, reduced staffing and high turnover rates, differing approaches to care planning, constant policy changes, lost leadership, and staff refusal to float. Its thesis is that evangelism is intrinsic to the identity and calling of every Christian, and that it is best understood as a natural part of the life of faith rather than a special activity.  Based upon a detailed review of relevant literature and the preparation, teaching, and evaluation of a course in workplace evangelism at the author's church, the project includes essays on defining evangelism, understanding the workplace, and telling the Christian story, plus a six-lesson curriculum suitable for use in discussion groups.
